Today's frequent use of the phone and people's increasingly poor ability to do things that do not provide immediate and continuous stimuli, make Ingrid worried about how future generations will handle life. She notices people so engrossed in their phones that they fail to engage in conversation with the person in front of them, and children frantically seeking the attention of parents too busy scrolling. In this exhibition she portrayed these people and situations as she sees them, in different ways.

When you are in your early twenties, people often say that you can be whatever you want, and that you have the whole world in front of you. Those words were paralyzing to Ingrid. "What if I don't make the right decisions?" "What if I end up like a grumpy, miserable bitch?". These fears and feelings made her produce her first solo exhibition.
